VINEWOOD VENUES
Vinewood Plantation, located in historic Newnan, GA, is the ideal venue for your outdoor wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner or special event. Built in 1852, this Georgia Plantation House and its Stables were fully renovated to include all of the contemporary amenities you need without sacrificing any of the Southern tradition and charm that you deserve. Vinewood is located 30 miles Southeast of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Newnan, Georgia. Vinewood is convenient to hotels, bed and breakfasts and restaurants in Historic Newnan, Chattahoochee Hill Country, Historic Senoia and Peachtree City.
THE STABLES
Vinewood offers her historic horse barn and pastures for your wedding, event or special occasion venue. The Stables date back to the 1830’s when it served as an Atlanta area working barn for Vinewood’s original cotton plantation. It has recently been renovated with all the amenities necessary for your wedding or event, all the while maintaining the rustic charm of a grand old barn. Upon entering The Stables’ foyer, the understated elegance is apparent, from the reclaimed brick flooring to the twelve light chandelier overhead. The main hall once housed sixteen horse stalls but has now been opened up to accommodate any style event you can imagine. The entire location's interior is clad in antique oak and heart pine. In addition to the 5,000 square foot main hall, The Stables include a built-in bar area, two bathrooms, and a large service area. Surrounding The Stables are acres of pastures with rolling hills peppered with ancient oaks and a most impressive pecan tree where the majority of our outdoor wedding ceremonies take place. The fire pit nestled in the field just behind The Stables has become a favorite location for guests to retire to during the reception as evening approaches.
Vinewood also offers some wonderful items that we believe add to this historic barn’s authentic character that are included in The Stables' rental fee. These items are our vintage eclectic wooden chairs and farmhouse style tables to accommodate up to 150 guests, two vintage pews and six vintage pub tables, as well as, four old wine barrels. In addition, Vinewood also includes in the rental fee strung garden lights, hundreds of mason jars, tinware pitchers, lanterns, shepherds hooks, old wooden boxes, crates and more decorative items for you to use as part of you decor. Costs to set up and break down will be determined by the needs of your wedding or special event. If you prefer to use or add rental tables, linens, chairs, etc. an additional fee may be charged.
THE MAIN HOUSE
Vinewood’s crowning gem is the original historic plantation home. Built in 1852, this Metro Atlanta area home has been lovingly maintained over the years. The Main House still has all of her historic charm while offering the contemporary amenities you need on the day of your event while preparing for your special occasion. The Main House is available the day of your wedding for everything from a bridal luncheon to bridal party preparations, as well as wedding party photography. The attention to detail from the interiors of The Main House to the gardens and grounds for your outdoor ceremony are sure to impress you and your guests on your special day.
